Express Scripts Medicare Members - As of January 1, 2014 you will need to give permission to the Express Script Pharmacy to fill any prescriptions ordered directly by your doctor.  The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires Express Script to make this change for both new and renewed prescriptions sent directly to the Express Scripts Pharmacy.  Express Scripts Pharmacy will contact you through automated phone messages and/or by mail to obtain approval.  The prescription will be filled once your permission is received.  There are 2 ways to give your permission and request your medication.  Contact Express Scripts Medicare customer service at 1-866-662-0274 (24 hours/7 days a week) at prompt press #1 or log on to www.Express-Scripts.com.  If you have not set up your account you will need to register.  Have our prescription ID card handy and select the prescriptions you want to receive through home delivery.
